Art for children in need!

Charity Cinema Going!

Two films will be screened in September in support of the education of disadvantaged students. The event is organised by St. St. Constantine and Helena Foundation with the general support of Pepsi. In two successive Saturdays, the Varna audience can see on the large screen some of the hits of the new Bulgarian cinema: the romantic thriller Hunting Down Small Predators of Director Tsvetodar Markov and the comedy The Foreigner of Niki Iliev.

The film Hunting Down Small Predators will be shown on 20 September. A week later, on 27 September, the big screen will see the charity showing of the film The Foreigner. The screenings will start at 7:30 pm in Europe Hall of the Festival and Concress Centre – Varna. Entrance is free.

The screenings are being implemented at the charity initiative Art Today – For Opportunities Tomorrow of St. St. Constantine and Helena Foundation and they aim to secure scholarship programmes which give young people the chance to continue their education in various universities in Bulgaria. The funds will be raised through a series of charity events of various forms of visual and music arts (cinema screenings, theatrical performances, concerts, etc.).

The charity cinema campaign of St. St. Constantine and Helena Foundation was implemented with the support of Festival and Congress Centre – Varna and Artin Vision.
